Description

Family run Bed and Breakfast Janata is located in a quiet section of Prague 3, right next to a large, wooded park (Vitkov, and there are other parks nearby). The B&B is situated on several bus and tram lines and in a few minutes can get you to the subway. Nearest subway/metro stop is "Želivského" (line A) and in four stops and about 10 minutes will have you on top of St. Wenceslas Square at station "Muzeum" (lines A and C). Step out of the subway and you're the middle of everything. The National Museum is right behind you, Old Town Square in front, and just about all major Prague sights are definitely within walking distance.

Or if you wish to take the scenic route, stay on trolley #9 and travel downtown past Wenceslas Square to the National Theater and across the Vltava river in about 15-20 minutes. Likewise, bus #133 will have you at Charles Bridge in about the same time.

B&B Janata is slightly off the beaten path but by no means entirely so. It's ideal for those who favor excellent value and peaceful surroundings over a central, but ofetn noisy location.

Room Amenities

Accommodations are in rooms with two to four beds. All of the rooms are complete with color TVs, telephones and en suite bathrooms with shower, wash basin and toilet.

Services

The reception desk offers a safety deposit box and Wi-Fi internet. Payments can be made in cash, by invoice or by VISA/Master Charge. Room prices include a rich and varied vegetarian breakfast. You may choose from 2-3 kinds of cheese, assorted jams, yogurts, 2 varieties of musli cereal, juice, coffee, tea, milk, bread, pastry and more.

The Janata B&B does not provide cooked meals but there are two very good restaurants and a pizzeria within short walking distance (about a 100 meters).

Parking is available in the B&B courtyard.
