Description

Bed and Breakfast Tara is located in the very heart of Prague, between Old Town Square and the bottom of Wenceslas Square. Both of these wonderful sights are about 200 meters away. The Tara is part of a 15th century building right above the historic marketplace Havelské Tržiště. Founded in 1232, the market is open daily and there you'll find the freshest produce, flowers, leather goods, art, wooden toys and ceramics. This is not a tourist trap and the prices for goods and souvenirs are among the best in Prague.

From this great location you can be on St. Wenceslas or Old Town Squares, Charles Bridge, the King's Way, the Municipal House, the National or Black Light theatres, the Vltava river, or any number of other great Prague attractions in less than 10 minutes walking! If you need to access public transportation, subway/metro station "Můstek" (lines A and B) is just over a 100 meters away.

Right outside your door, be sure to visit The Estates Theatre, where Mozart conducted the world premiere of his famous opera Don Giovanni on October 29, 1787.

Room Amenities

Bed and Breakfast Tara offers accommodations in 1 to 7 bedded rooms or suites which are situated on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. All rooms are newly renovated, have private bathrooms and are equipped with a refrigerator, an electric kettle, cups, plates and utensils.

Additional amenities are offered in 2 categories:

Standard rooms are furnished to ensure basic needs and comfort.

Deluxe rooms offer a very high level of accommodations and are newly built in the attic lofts. Their vantage point on the 4th floor ensures stunning views of the very heart of Prague.

Please note that this historical building does not have an elevator.

Services

Reception is open from 9 am to 8 pm. A standard breakfast is available for 75 crowns. Kosher breakfasts are available upon request (licensed, certified premises). Price of kosher meals varies upon type and amounts selected.

In addition to standard concierge services such as parking and transportation, private tour guides and cosmetic services, a wide range of other activities can also be arranged. These include adrenalin sports, such as tandem jumps and sightseeing flights, tennis with private instructors and all necessary equipment, horseback riding in lovely scenary on the outskirts of Prague, and much more.
