Description

The Hotel Élite is situated right in historic Prague, about midway between the Vltava river and St. Wenceslas Square. (The bottom of Wenceslas Square is less than a kilometer from the river.) The famous National and Black Light Theaters are on the next street over, just meters away. All of Prague's major historical, architectural and cultural treasures are within very easy walking distance from this location. Subway/metro stop "Národní třída" (line B) is just around the corner.

The Hotel Élite has a long and rich history going back to the late 14th century. It is a special place that satisfied patrons come back to visit time and time again. Painstakingly detailed renovation of this architecturally remarkable building was carried out between 1998 and 2000. The hotel boasts unique room arrangements which offer extremely comfortable accommodations without marring the romantic charm of the fine and ancient house.

Room Amenities

Each of the 79 uniquely decorated rooms contains original antique furniture. Ornate engravings of the old city of Prague decorate the walls. Among the other amenities, business travelers will appreciate a large writing desk in many of the rooms. There is one room with wheelchair access. All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with en suite bathrooms, IDD telephones, satellite as well as pay TV, a PC connection, safety deposit box and a mini bar. Room service is available. The hotel also offers two lovely suites, offering even more spaciousness and added comfort. One of the suites boasts a 17th century Renaissance fresco ceiling. The suite is protected by the Town hall as a notable historical monument.

The hotel´s cozy and historic atmosphere is augmented by the Ultramarin grill on the ground floor, offering the best of Spanish, French and Argentinean cuisines.

A cocktail bar, featuring jazz and Latino music, lies in the vaulted ceilinged, ancient hotel cellars.

After a long day of shopping or sightseeing, the hotel´s open atrium with a day bar and garden is ideal for pleasant relaxation.

Hotel Élite offers a beauty parlor and a hairdresser´s salon.
