Hostel Altis

Description

The Altis Hostel is situated about 15 minutes from downtown historic Prague, on the subway/metro line. It's about 400 to 500 meters to either the "Invalidovna" or "Palmovka" stops (line B). Once on the subway at Invalidovna, it's four stops to "Můstek station (lines A and B) and right in the historic center of Prague. Due to the location and the quality of accommodations, the Altis Hostel is a fine choice for all age categories of visitors who are accustomed to hostel type lodging.

Room Amenities

Total capacity of the Altis Hostel is 63 beds. Rooms without en-suite bathrooms have shower and toilet facilities on each floor (for up to 10 people). The hostel has its own locked parking area including one space for a bus. Parking facilities are for an additional fee. The entire complex, including parking area, is guarded with a video surveillence system.

Guests have a lounge with a satellite TV at their disposal. In the subbasement of the nearby restaurant is a music club with the possibility of arranging live performances for guests. (Must be arranged in advance.)

Services

Reception services are open 24/7 and provide wake-up calls, sell postcards, tram tickets and drinks. Fast food or pizza may be ordered through the reception desk as well as taxis and other services. Guests have a luggage room and safe at their disposal, free of charge. Laundry services are available for a fee.

It is possible to arrange breakfast for up to 10 people directly at the hostel. For larger groups, a buffet-style breakfast at a nearby restaurant can also be arranged. Finally, a kitchenette is available for a small fee. It is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, cooking range and dishes/utensils.

Also free of charge, hostel guests can use the internet, or connect via Wi-Fi if they have their own laptop.
